Hill Special and Classic Lightweight Ride

Meet Oakhill College, Wiswell Lane, Whalley BB7 9AF at 10.30 for an 11am start. Large, free and secure car park on site. 25 mile undulating ride on quiet lanes in the Ribble Valley (the route is suitable for fixed wheel).

A shorter option is available, it misses the cafe stop but you will be first to the pub.

Hill Special Lightweight Ride at historic ILP Clarion Tearoom at Newchurch in Pendle.

This website has been set up to bring together all those cyclists who own or have a love for Hill Special cycles.

Three not so important questions: Do you need a Hill Special or a classic lightweight cycle to join the ride? DEFINITELY NOT any type, model or age of bicycle will be welcome.

What does it cost to join the ride? IT'S FREE

What exactly is a Classic Lightweight? I don't know is the honest answer, but I do know that the Classic Lightweight website is a good place to start looking.

Hope to see you there.
